Responsible for providing pulmonary care to critical, non-critical, and chronically ill adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician supervision. Performs diagnostic and technical respiratory procedures, conducts patient assessments, and implements care plans.
Key responsibilities include emergency response, airway management, ventilator operation, aerosolized drug delivery, oxygen therapy, blood gas analysis, EKG interpretation, and equipment maintenance. May serve as Shift or Team Leader and utilize advanced skills such as pulmonary testing, waveform analysis, and bronchoscopy support.
Requirements include a valid RCP license, BLS certification, and NBRC CRT credential. Preferred 2–3 years of experience. Work schedule is 7PM-7AM, per diem as needed. Compliance with certification renewal policies is mandatory.
