Health Images is looking for an Area Manager to join our Colorado team! The position will support Fort Collins, Greeley, and surrounding areas.
| Position Pay Range: $98,000- $110,000 | Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM |
Summary/Objective:
The Area Manager provides strategic leadership of multiple imaging centers through managing center staff and onsite operations. Reviews procedures for accuracy and efficiency and oversees business and operational aspects by working closely with associated leadership to ensure assigned centers meet and exceed goals and objectives.
Essential Functions
1. Provides day-to-day oversight of Center operations and supervision of staff.
2. Participates in budget creation of assigned Centers. Responsible for the profit and loss performance of assigned Centers.
3. Implements and enforces all application regulatory standards, requirements and guidelines in the Center. Ensures compliance of policies and procedures by personnel.
4. Coordinates staff work and training schedules, performs employee evaluations/performance management, provides coaching and assists in the interviewing, hiring and orientation of new employees.
5. Collaborates with other members of the organization to look for process improvements and cost reduction opportunities to better assist our centers and their ability to provide spectacular service.
6. Oversees and takes responsibility for the delivery of care to all patients served by the Center. Monitors patient service feedback and responds to all escalated customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
7. Audits clinical records to ensure all regulatory standards are met and looks for process improvements and cost reduction opportunities.
8. Represents the organization with all referral sources, physicians and the community on as-needed basis in conjunction with Marketing Account Manager.
9. Delegates referral process/coordination, staffing coordination, supply inventory and distribution and oversees the completion of these processes as necessary.
10. Analyzes and organizes clinical operations for designated Centers.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
The Area Manager provides daily leadership and operational support to employees of the Centers in which you oversee. This position is also responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the department.
Work Environment
This job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by and employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel
Some periodic travel is expected for this position.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Three plus years’ experience in a healthcare environment
- Five plus years’ experience in a leadership position with experience in staff supervision
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
- Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
- Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Healthcare Administration or related field is required
