Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radioactive drugs.
- Operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
- Follow hospital safety and patient care policies.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine.
- BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of hospital-based experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
- Familiarity with radiation detection, imaging equipment, and radioactive drug procedures.
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols and hospital policies.
- Preferred: Certification through ARRT(N) or NMTCB.
