Role: Provide specialized radiology and cardiology imaging services, utilizing advanced equipment and techniques such as IMRT, SRS, and TrueBeam. Ensure patient safety and treatment accuracy while performing external beam therapies, stereotactic procedures, and treatment planning. Maintain detailed documentation within the Epic charting system and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
Responsibilities: Conduct treatment procedures for various conditions including brain tumors, lymphomas, prostate, and pancreatic cancers. Assist with patient and family education, manage treatment devices like HexaPOD and Fiducials, and ensure proper use of lift/transfer devices. Monitor and adjust respiratory gating and PPE precautions as needed.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology or cardiology; certifications in ARRT T and BLS required. Proficiency in ARIA, Elekta Versa HD, Brain Lab, and related treatment technologies. Strong knowledge of billing, chart checks, and radiation safety. Excellent patient communication and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
