Role: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain sterile operating environments, assist in patient positioning, manage surgical instruments, monitor patient status, document care, and ensure infection control and safety protocols. Collaborate with surgical teams, handle specimen collection, and support efficient workflow and patient safety throughout perioperative care.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires at least one year of recent OR RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and OR Nursing Certification (CNOR). Must possess critical thinking, communication, technical, physical, and sensory skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
Key Duties: Ensure readiness of surgical equipment, assist with patient preparation, maintain sterile conditions, provide support to surgical staff, monitor and document patient conditions, manage specimens, and adhere to safety and infection control standards.
