Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and oversee speech therapy services to improve communication and swallowing functions.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Supervise and refer to Speech Language Pathology Assistants and rehab staff when appropriate.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team activities, documentation, and compliance efforts.
- Maintain professional licensure, ASHA certification, and ongoing education.
- Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and patient rights policies.
- Build effective relationships with patients, staff, and external parties.
- Perform administrative duties including documentation, billing, and program development.
- Possibly supervise students and support clinical program enhancements.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Valid state licensure and ASHA certification if applicable.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
