- Following physician’s orders, regulations, and facility policies to ensure patient safety and care quality.
- Administering medications via oral, SQ, IM, or IV routes as prescribed.
- Leading, guiding, and supervising nursing assistants and staff.
- Assisting physicians during rounds, physical exams, and treatments.
- Performing and documenting treatments, maintaining infection control, and adhering to safety standards.
- Supporting research efforts related to nursing care quality.
- Managing records, assessments, and scheduling physicals for new and current patients.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an active, valid license from the licensing board.
- Current CPR certification and commitment to ongoing training and staff meetings.
- Strong supervision skills, dependability, flexibility, and excellent communication abilities.
- Ability to make sound nursing decisions, demonstrating patience and tact with patients, families, and staff.
