Qualifications & Certifications
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN license in the applicable state or compact licensure, meeting all state requirements.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., or C-EFM may be required based on the unit or specialty.
- Provide direct patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and safety standards.
- Demonstrate physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform physical duties including reaching, bending, and kneeling.
