Nurse Educator

Role: Nurse Educator (RN) responsible for developing, reviewing, and implementing hospital training programs for RN, LVN, and MHT staff. Provides patient nursing assessments as needed and participates in Treatment Team meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the CNO in evaluating and designing staff training events.
• Conduct patient assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
• Support hospital training initiatives and ensure compliance with standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; RN/BSN preferred.
• California RN licensure required.
• At least three years of clinical experience, preferably in psychiatric or mental health settings, with staff education experience.
• Knowledge of patient rights, crisis intervention, complex care planning, and relevant laws.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage workloads, work effectively with diverse teams, and handle fast-paced environments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, tact, resourcefulness, and confidentiality awareness.
