- Operate cameras to detect and map radioactive drugs within patients' bodies.
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate anatomic and technical factors.
- Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals following protocols.
- Follow radiation safety guidelines and ensure equipment functions properly.
- Submit high-quality images and documentation promptly, ensuring proper labeling and patient data accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized department and report equipment issues.
- Assist in maintaining safety standards and perform additional duties as assigned.
- Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Certifications such as CNMT or ARRT-N, and BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- No prior experience required.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform patient handling tasks frequently.
