Role: PRN Mental Health Technician in a crisis stabilization unit, providing safe client support, monitoring, and assisting with daily activities in a 16-bed facility for mentally ill adults.
Responsibilities: Maintain unit safety, monitor clients' activities, facilitate group therapies, assist with personal care and laundry, serve meals, conduct client intake and discharge coordination, complete documentation, and support clients verbally and physically. Perform clerical duties and participate in staff training.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field, with at least one year of experience working with the seriously mentally ill. Must be a QMHP-A, with preferred experience with dually diagnosed clients. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills required.
Key Duties: Support multidisciplinary team, promote client well-being, ensure safety, and maintain a clean, organized environment. Engage clients, assist with psycho-educational groups, and document progress accurately.
