- Ensure proper identification, positioning, coning, markers, and image quality according to standards.
- Verify requisitions, clinical information, and sticker usage.
- Maintain licensure and enhance technical skills through ongoing education.
- Monitor processor performance and maintain accurate patient records and charges.
- Operate mammography, bone densitometry equipment, computed radiography, direct radiographs, and PACS.
- High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- Current mammography continuing education, Florida CRT license, ARRT and ARRT Mammography registry (or within 90 days of hire).
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to prioritize work, function effectively under stress, and work as part of a team.
- Hospital radiology experience preferred; successful completion of 40 hours of mammography training.
