Job Type: Full Time- Must be Available on Weekends and Weekdays

The Certified Medical Assistant works closely with providers and other medical assistants, lead medical assistant, and the clinic manager to provide quality care to patients in a positive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant work experience and certification as a Certified Medical Assistant.
- Must have active license at time of hire.
- Certification from a nationally recognized organization, such as AAMA or NHA.
- Minimum of one year of prior outpatient medical assistant experience preferred.
- CPR certification must be complete at time of hiring.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Successful completion of a nationally accredited Certified Medical Assistant certification program or relevant work experience and national certification or registration as a Medical Assistant.
- Must be proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Timely and efficient rooming of patients, performing vital signs, taking chief complaint, and verifying medication list.
- Must be able to perform Receptionist Duties/ Checking Patients In and Out
- Required vital signs on each patient
- Prepping exam room and patient for procedures, such as minor surgery, physicals, female exams, etc.
- Call patients with lab and/or test results after provider has reviewed results and written recommendations.
