- Carotid endarterectomies
- Femoral endarterectomies
- Lower extremity bypasses
- Acute limb ischemia procedures
- Arteriovenous fistulas (AVF)
- Axillo-bifemoral bypass
- aorto-bifemoral bypasses
- Amputations
- Diagnostic angiography and peripheral interventions
- Fistulograms
- Mesenteric and renal interventions
- Venous interventions
- Wound care
- Complex open and endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs (e.g., EVAR, open AAA), medically complex patients, and more complicated lower extremity bypasses or revision procedures may be performed at Maine Medical Center, in collaboration with Portland vascular teams.
- Inpatient vascular needs covered by vascular surgery during daytime hours
- Overnight inpatient coverage to be provided by a team including the vascular surgeon, intensivist service, hospitalist service and general surgery service.
- Emergency Department call shared in a hybrid model with Portland vascular surgeons providing remote call support
- Established IAC Accredited Vein Center and Vascular Lab continue to operate as they do today
- Opportunities to enhance outpatient vascular services through OBL-based procedures
- Mix of new consults, follow-up care, and post-operative management
- MD or DO with board certification in Vascular Surgery
- Completion of an accredited Vascular Surgery fellowship
- Eligible for Maine medical licensure
- Strong clinical and procedural competency across open and endovascular vascular surgery
- Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care
