UNC Health Pardee is a not-for-profit health care system that was founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health. It is the first hospital in the Carolinas to be accredited with the International Organization for Standardization for quality health care standards. We are a licensed for 222 acute care beds and are the second-largest employer in Henderson County. We have several locations separate from our main campus, including a comprehensive physician practice network, multiple urgent care locations and orthopedic clinics.

- Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)
- Robotic Bronchoscopy
- Dedicated Lung Nodule Clinic
- Comprehensive Cancer Program (hematology/oncology, radiation oncology, nurse navigation, infusion services, chemotherapy, clinical trials)
- 222-bed acute care hospital
- 11-bed adult open ICU
- Outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation program
- Four-bed sleep lab
- Established outpatient sleep evaluation services
- Epic EMR utilized in clinic and hospital settings
- 3 clinic-based Pulmonary physicians
- 3 clinic-based Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- 3 ICU-only physicians dedicated to inpatient critical care coverage
Required Candidate Qualifications
- Fellowship Trained in Pulmonary (Required)
- Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary (Required)
- Board certified in Sleep Medicine (Preferred)
- Eligible for North Carolina Medical License
