Opportunity Highlights
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, 40-hour workweek
- Primarily inpatient palliative care consult service: some clinic patient follow-up
- Interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, chaplaincy, and case management
- Competitive salary, quality incentives, relocation assistance, sign-on bonus(negotiable), comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement, CME, malpractice, PTO)
- Light call, shared rotation, typically phone-based
- Highly desirable community 45 minutes from New Orleans, known for excellent schools, safety, outdoor recreation, and strong quality of life
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related specialty
- Fellowship training in Hospice & Palliative Medicine, preferred
- BLS and ACLS required
- Active Louisiana medical license (by start date)
