Excellent opportunity for a dynamic Physician Assistant to join our team of highly trained team of Orthopedic Surgeons. We provide care to a varied group of patients with shoulder and elbow orthopedic surgical needs along with general orthopedic care. Our PA will round on patients on the hospital floor; see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic and provide surgical first assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be confident in their OR skills and clinical procedures, be driven and independent with the ability to be a self-starter and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.
Essential Functions And Requirements:
Banner Ocotillo Medical Center (BOMC) Chandler, AZ, has 124 beds with ample shelled space for future growth. The hospital offers key inpatient and outpatient services, such as emergency care, intensive care, endoscopy, cardiac catheterization, imaging, surgical and women's services. The hospital utilizes cutting-edge technology to improve safety and quality, including robotic surgeries, UV disinfecting lighting, and smart devices for all caregivers.
The four-story, 240,000-square-foot hospital is located on the southeast corner of Alma School Road and the Loop 202/Santan Freeway. It is adjacent to an existing Banner Health Center and is part of the newly expanded medical community that Banner Health has completed in Chandler. In addition, a Medical Office Building, Ambulatory Surgery Center and an Imaging Center have been built near the hospital to further support the health care needs of the surrounding community.

Essential Functions And Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program and certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants/American Association
- Active AZ license or eligible
- DEA with prescriptive authority required.
- Orthopedic surgery experience preferred, but new grads will be considered
- Full-time | M-F
- Surgical/Clinical position; 2 Days OR, 2.5 days Clinic
- OR time will be spilt between BOMC and the Ambulatory Surgery Center
- Supportive and tight knit team of physicians, APPs, RNs, MAs and support staff
- Call Required
