MaineHealth Orthopedics is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Foot & Ankle Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our growing, high-volume orthopedic practice in Portland, Maine. - Full-time position (1.0 FTE)
- Established orthopedic practice with significant referral volume and regional demand
- Approximately 60% operating room time and 40% clinic time
- Dedicated block time in the operating room and access to a new ambulatory surgery center
- Manageable shared call schedule
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for disorders of the lower extremity, including:
- Tendon disorders, including Achilles, peroneal, and posterior tibial tendon pathology
- Foot and ankle arthritis
- Ligament injuries, including ankle sprains and Lisfranc injuries
- Minimally invasive Achilles tendon repair
- Flatfoot and cavovarus reconstruction
- Ankle, calcaneus, and foot fractures
- Plantar fasciitis
- Metatarsalgia
- Bunions
- Neuromas
- Hammertoes
- Foot and ankle arthroscopy
- Post-traumatic lower extremity reconstruction
- Charcot neuroarthropathy
