The Ideal Candidate Will
- Demonstrate proficiency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- Have strong instructional and communication skills with experience in academic settings
- Be able to work effectively with varied students, faculty, and patient populations
- Be familiar with educational technology and electronic health records
- Have experience with curriculum design and academic program assistance
- Have published research and scholarly contributions in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
- DDS or DMD from a U.S. or Canadian accredited dental school.
- Clinical teaching experience at the predoctoral or postdoctoral level.
- Licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Tennessee or eligible to become licensed.
- Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from a US or Canadian CODA-accredited postgraduate program.
- Board Certification or eligibility from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
