Looking for a primary care opportunity that offers flexibility without weekends, nights, or call? Our client is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a growing primary care practice in Irving, Texas.
This full-time, Monday–Friday position offers a hybrid schedule combining in-person care with telehealth appointments, including fully virtual Fridays. You’ll have the autonomy to make clinical decisions while receiving strong operational support, malpractice coverage, and supervising physician coverage.
Candidates must currently reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and be able to commute reliably to the Irving location.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care through in-person and telehealth visits
- Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and follow up with patients of all ages
- Manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
- Provide preventive care, routine health screenings, and patient education
- Perform in-office procedures within the provider’s training and scope of practice
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic health records
- Collaborate with clinic leadership and staff to support efficient workflows and excellent patient care
- Counsel patients regarding health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Follow all applicable clinical, regulatory, and quality standards
Qualifications
- Active Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active, unrestricted DEA registration
- Minimum of 2–3 years of recent, direct primary care experience
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Credentialed or eligible for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and major commercial insurance plans
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Bilingual language skills are a plus but not required
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Tuesday: 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
- Friday: Fully remote telehealth visits
- Saturday and Sunday: Off
- No nights, on-call responsibilities, or major holidays unless mutually agreed
The weekday schedule includes a combination of in-person and telehealth appointments based on clinic needs.
