What You'll Do (AKA: Your Superpowers)

Lead Our Accounts Payable Operations:

• Oversee the daily operations of our centralized Accounts Payable department supporting a growing portfolio of managed senior living communities.

• Lead, coach, and develop our Lead Accounts Payable Specialist while fostering accountability through Health Dimensions Group's EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) leadership model.

• Review invoices, expense reports, and payment documentation to ensure proper approvals, coding accuracy, and compliance with organizational policies.

• Manage vendor payment schedules while balancing organizational cash flow priorities.

• Ensure Accounts Payable activities are completed accurately and timely in preparation for month-end close.

• Oversee annual 1099 processing and vendor payment compliance.

Drive Process Improvement:

• Continuously evaluate and improve Accounts Payable workflows, efficiencies, and internal controls.

• Partner with and oversee our offshore Accounts Payable support team, ensuring adherence to HDG Accounts Payable core processes.

• Lead the onboarding and offboarding of managed communities onto HDG Accounts Payable platforms and processes.

• Support non-centralized communities by providing training, guidance, and ongoing process support.

• Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to establish timelines, expectations, and performance measures across our managed communities.

Collaborate & Build Relationships:

• Serve as the primary resource for resolving complex Accounts Payable questions from community leaders, vendors, and internal business partners.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships across Finance, Operations, and our managed communities.

• Provide education and training on Accounts Payable best practices and HDG core processes.

• Partner on special projects and initiatives that support organizational growth and continuous improvement.

What You Bring to the Table

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required.

• 3–5 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience required.

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience required.

• Experience with virtual card payment programs is preferred.

Technical & Leadership Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
