About us
Health Data Analytics Institute (HDAI) is a commercial-stage HealthTech company. Our Intelligent Health Management System, HealthVision,TM, is a first-in-class enterprise solution leveraging real-time predictive analytics and generative AI to deliver improved outcomes, efficiencies, and economics for health systems and value-based care organizations.
HDAI is located in Dedham, MA near the Dedham Corporate Center Commuter Rail station on the Franklin/Foxboro line (25 minutes from Back Bay and South Station, Boston) and I-95/128.
Summary
We are seeking candidates who have experience as a Data Analyst in healthcare. This role requires healthcare industry acumen, strong analytical skills, and a passion for data-driven transformation. Candidate will conduct analyses and develop visualizations with data derived from one of healthcare’s largest data sets. Work closely with research, product, and sales teams to deliver understandable, actionable, and compelling insights.
Responsibilities
- Work on ETL processes, build datasets for analysis, and implement quality monitoring
- Conduct complex analyses with our population health data extract
- Work with our product team to conduct analyses and develop prototype visualizations that support our population health analytics tools
- Deliver custom reports for high-value partners and prospects that address key challenges they face
- Analyze our data set to answer research questions that support our thought leadership and content-based marketing program
- Work with our data science team to support the development of usable data extracts from billions of rows of raw data
Minimum qualifications
- Knowledge of statistical concepts, with technical skills to help manage and transform complex data sets
- Proficiency with SQL and R, SAS, and/or Python
- Experience with data visualization designed for impact and interpretability
- Comfort working in a constantly changing environment across several teams
- 3 years of professional or advanced academic data science/analysis work preferred
- Strong interest in healthcare, with a preference for academic or professional experience in the industry
Preferred education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in math, statistics, or a related field—or a proven track record in these fields
