Registered Nurse (RN) – Director of Nursing
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing to provide leadership and support within our care community. This role oversees daily nursing operations, ensures quality resident care, and maintains compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, schedule, and support nursing staff.
- Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and documentation.
- Monitor EMR usage, documentation quality, and staff training.
- Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and assist with survey processes and Plans of Correction.
- Respond to changes in resident condition and ensure timely physician communication.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold resident rights, safety, and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in state of practice.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of basic nursing practices and medication effects.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform typical nursing tasks, communicate clearly, and maintain accurate documentation.
Supervisory Duties
- Hire, train, evaluate, and support nursing staff while fostering a positive work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $63.00 per hour
