What You'll Care For:
You will care for a diverse patient population, including those with:
- Transient ischemic attacks/strokes
- Pancreatitis
- Gastrointestinal disorders/bleeds
- Wounds requiring debridement
- Detox and alcohol withdrawal
- Pneumonia
- Post-op patients recovering from laparoscopic procedures and cystoscopies

Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college required OR obtained within 5 years of hire for ADN holders
- Graduation from an accredited Diploma School of Nursing/College of Nursing with ASN or BSN required
- BSN preferred
- For NMH Oncology: EKG course required
- For NMH Medical Observation & Ortho Neuro: NIH Stroke Scale training or proof of training required within first 6 months
- Successful completion of annual mandatory education requirements
Experience:
- Radiation Oncology: 3-5 years hospital or office experience, oncology or med/surg focus
- Palliative Care: Minimum 2 years RN experience
- IV Team: 3-6 months on-the-job training for venipuncture and equipment use
- Surgery Main: 2 years OR experience for weekend positions
- Preferred experience includes:
- 2-5 years inpatient nursing and surgical experience
- Surgical experience
- 1 year hospital experience in Behavioral Health Psych IP
- Venipuncture experience
Licenses & Certifications:
- Valid Nebraska RN license, multistate compact license, or temporary permit
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR certification
