Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years health insurance sales experience OR master’s degree with 2 years health insurance sales experience OR 8 years health insurance sales experience
- Experience managing broker and/or field sales staff
- Experience in meeting and/or exceeding sales goals
- Knowledge of the health insurance industry, the producer community and Consumer Markets products
- Marketing skills
- Consultative skills
- Training skills Interviewing and selection skills
- Verbal and written communications skills including interpersonal skills, building relationships, developing and facilitating presentations and interviewing
- Knowledge and skills of PC applications such as Microsoft office and databases
- Possess an active department of insurance license from the state of residence or reciprocity
- Experience with Medicare products (Including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and Medicare Supplement products)
- Adherence to CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines and procedures
- Customer features, benefits and Medicare & Medicaid knowledge preferred
