Health Care for the Homeless is seeking a Part-Time Behavioral Health Therapist to provide integrated, trauma-informed therapy services to homeless adolescents, adults, and geriatric clients experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral health assessments and provide therapeutic interventions using a client-centered, harm-reduction approach.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans with SMART goals.
- Facilitate psycho-educational groups and provide crisis intervention services, including emergency petitions when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, including treatment plans, assessments, and progress notes.
- Support clients with discharge planning and referrals to higher levels of care.
- Participate in after-hours phone coverage on a rotating basis with other behavioral health staff.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
- Licensed LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, or LCPC in Maryland.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing behavioral health services to individuals with dual diagnoses, preferably in a community or public health setting.
- Familiarity with harm reduction philosophy and practices.
- Experience working with underserved populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
