Qualifications
- Registered/certified therapy animal through a recognized therapy pet organization
- Visit hospice patients with a certified therapy pet in accordance with scheduled visits
- Provide a calming and supportive presence for patients, families, and caregivers
- Monitor the pet’s behavior to ensure a safe and positive interaction at all times
