What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant position at Health Care - Chiropractic and Acupuncture Clinic?
Approximately 25-35 hours a week. Wonderful preventative health care office in the Concord/Huntersville area. Chiro Touch Software proficiency a plus
Manage front-desk duties, coordinate patient scheduling, maintain records, and—where permitted by state law—assist with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation exercises under the direct guidance of the supervising chiropractor
Front Office Duties
- Greet and check in patients; verify insurance coverage and collect payment information.
- Schedule and confirm appointments; manage patient recall lists.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and practice management systems.
- Process payments, insurance claims, and enter charges into billing software.
- Order office and medical supplies as needed.
Clinical Duties
- Prepare patients for treatment; take vitals (height, weight, BP).
- Assist chiropractor during examinations and therapies.
- Apply therapeutic modalities (e.g., heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation) as directed.
- Instruct and monitor patients through prescribed rehabilitation and home exercise programs.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment rooms and equipment.
Salary : $16 - $21
