- Develop and implement a written plan of care within specified timeframes.
- Perform patient interventions proficiently, demonstrating age-specific competency.
- Verify orders, schedule tests, review pre-op data, and ensure consent accuracy during hospitalization.
- Follow medication and IV therapy policies, including patient identification, medication administration, and adverse reaction monitoring.
- Interpret diagnostic data, notify physicians of critical lab values, and take appropriate actions.
- Perform related duties as required.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- Valid Multi-State RN License or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required within 7 days; ACLS and NIHSS for ICU/CCU, SICU, CVICU within orientation.
- Preferred: One year of telemetry experience, CCRN certification.
