Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist

Role: A Phlebotomist responsible for performing blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting specimens for various tests, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Duties

• Collect and prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Accurately enter patient data and process billing information.
• Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
• Perform administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
• Provide superior customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency preferred.
• Experience in blood collection, including pediatrics, is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
• Pass a color blindness test and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible to work overtime and travel as needed.
