Role: Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals intravenously for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, performing screening procedures, and ensuring procedure quality control.

Key Duties Include

  • Preparing, administering, and measuring radioactive isotopes using specialized equipment
  • Calculating doses and preparing stock solutions of radioactive materials
  • Performing diagnostic screening procedures and documenting all pertinent information
  • Obtaining patient information and providing preparation instructions
  • Collaborating with senior staff for complex issues and performing other related duties

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/certificate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program (required)
  • State Nuclear Medicine License (required in CA and HI)
  • Registration with ARRT or NMTCB (required in CA and OR)
  • Venipuncture certification (required in CA and HI)
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care protocols
