- Performing mammography procedures by positioning patients, operating radiological equipment, developing films, and evaluating image quality.
- Ensuring patient safety, maintaining radiation safety standards, and adhering to regulations (MQSA/ACR).
- Providing patient education and support to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation.
- Accurately inputting patient data into computer systems and managing patient information.
- Maintaining a clean, well-stocked radiology environment and participating in quality assurance activities.
- Responding effectively to contrast reactions and ensuring proper patient identification and safety protocols.
- Collaborating with team members, complying with safety policies, and supporting patient-focused care.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) and BLS certification at hire.
- Knowledge of patient care, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.
- State certification as Mammography Technologist and AART-M registration preferred; 1 year of mammography experience is a plus.
