Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise daily lab operations, ensuring accurate testing and timely reporting
- Train, mentor, and manage laboratory personnel
- Monitor workflow, staffing, and equipment maintenance
- Address production errors and implement process improvements
- Maintain quality assurance records and ensure compliance with regulations
- Perform bench work and administrative duties as needed
- Bachelor's Degree and active ASCP certification (HT(ASCP) or HLT(ASCP))
- Minimum 4 years histology experience, with at least 2 years supervisory experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and relevant regulations
- Proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
