Seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens support in a busy emergency department.
Responsibilities: Cover shifts during day and night hours, including weekends, across both hospital and free-standing locations. Handle an annual volume of approximately 60,000 patients. Collaborate with available advanced practice providers and support various specialties (excluding Pediatrics). Document patient care using electronic medical records. Be flexible to float between sites and work varied shifts.
Qualifications: Board certification in emergency medicine, active Missouri license, DEA license, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (taken once). Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends is essential.
