Massage Therapist (LMT)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage. You will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assessing individual needs, and delivering tailored treatments to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. A strong background in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer various types of massages including trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific patient concerns.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
• Educate patients on self-care techniques and pain management strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting to enhance patient care.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean workspace.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong portfolio of techniques.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy practices.
• Familiarity with pain management strategies and patient assessment techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Previous experience in a med spa or clinical environment is preferred but not required.
