HAP is seeking a motivated and talented intern for the Summer 2026 Intern Program. The program will run May 11 – August 7. This paid internship will require full time hours availability (M-F) during the summer session dates. It will be a hybrid work format, involving a combination of remote and onsite work/events in Troy, MI (commute & housing expense reimbursement not provided).

Program Duties/Responsibilities

Program Duties/Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments to support a positive and inclusive work environment. Contribute actively to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Support project delivery within the transformation office initiatives. Support may include data collection/analysis, process review, quality review, administrative support, meeting summaries, release notes, metrics and/or special projects.
- Help coordinate and connect cross-functional teams. Support may include scheduling meetings, following up on action items, and documenting outcomes.
- Help to collect/identify, organize, inventory, archive, retrieve and present corporate information that is used for strategic decision making and long-term planning. Supporting tools include Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and project tracking tools such as ServiceNow.
- Perform administrative follow up by keeping track of assigned tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year undergraduate or graduate program in a relevant field.
- Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, and a desire to learn and grow.
- Knowledge or interest in healthcare, health insurance, or managed care is a plus.
- This opportunity is best suited for a student in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology or a related program.
