Position Overview
The Account Manager, RN is responsible for ensuring the highest sustainable level of customer satisfaction with internal operations and external healthcare facility providers. This role is responsible for the full range of service management functions required to ensure service delivery, quality standards and committed service levels on an on-going basis. The Account Manager, RN works within a multidisciplinary team to provide qualified candidates to meet staffing needs of prospective and existing clients and geographic areas.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provides support and leadership to other members of the team.
Essential Duties and Requirements
- Provide professional nursing consultation to Company's clients with respect to staff on assignment.
- Proactively calls into prospective and existing clients to generate new business.
- Cultivate and maintain valuable client relationships in reaching top tier vendor status.
- Strengthen current client relationships to expand service offerings including new units and modalities as well as increasing geographical areas served.
- Persistently use traditional and creative methods to reach new points of contact with current clients to sell and maintain services.
- Continuously generate client leads using high volume calls and emails.
- Effectively operates as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to assigned accounts.
- Assesses the market to create competitive bill and pay rates that achieves financial goals and captures more market share; recommends changes to senior leadership.
- Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders regarding sales, operations and QI activities related to: job order development and knowledge, compliance in client specific submission criteria, coordination of interview times, timely follow up on submission status, obtainment of assignment confirmations and extensions.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Criteria
- Current, Active RN License in the state of California (Must maintain active licensure) required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
- Five (5) years of industry-related work experience, preferred.
- Three (3) years of work experience as a Registered Nurse, required. Experience in a Nurse Supervisory position in a hospital setting preferred.
- Demonstrated experience assessing competencies required for various healthcare positions.
- Proven working experience as Account Manager or Business Development Manager in healthcare, preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics, required.
- Proven success in a metrics driven environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
- Must be able to lift and carry 15 pounds at a time.
- Occasionally move about inside an office environment.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Frequently communicates with internal and external clients in-person, and via telephone, email, and video conferencing. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
