Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual patient needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, pain points, and treatment goals
- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting procedures, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that adheres to occupational health standards
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements to maintain licensure and expand your skill set
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice legally
