Summary:
This position is under the immediate supervision of the Education Director sharing their responsibilities for faculty, student education, teacher in-service training, course & program evaluations, and program calendars.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an AS degree or equivalent experience; BS degree preferred.
- UTAH LMT with at least 3 years in massage profession with a minimum of 2 years teaching exp.;
- Ability to deal effectively with a diverse student body;
- Ability to work under pressure to meet timelines and objectives;
- Ability to co-direct school curriculum, faculty quality, student needs, and multiple class calendars
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent hygiene and dress habits for dealing with the public on a daily basis.
Duties: (to include, but not limited to)
- It is essential to portray a positive and friendly image because our education team sets the mood and spirit of the faculty & students along with their counterparts for fulfilling the educational objectives of the school.
- Co-direct the affairs of the department of education for all campuses; ensure that all syllabi, lesson plans, exams & keys, handouts, manuals/texts, and competency lists meet accreditation requirements; create calendars, and notify teachers of contracts & schedules.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Program Manager and Campus Director to ensure the success and effectiveness of instructors and curriculum to best serve the students, the school, and the massage profession.
- To work directly with the DOE regarding the faculty's hiring, training, and effectiveness. Perform instructor performance evaluations under the direction of the DOE.
- To help produce an annual Progam Effectiveness Plan and maintain ABHES compliance for the department.
- Assist in coordinating & directing biannual faculty meetings and in-service training sessions yearly to ensure the faculty’s effectiveness. Keep faculty files current at all times and ABHES compliant.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
