Position SummaryThe Branch Manager, RN is responsible for the overall leadership, clinical quality, operational performance, and growth of the Gillette branch. This role oversees all staff, ensures compliance, and drives strategic growth in a rural healthcare environment.
This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a balance of clinical oversight, business management, and community relationship building.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership- Manage all day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficient care delivery across a wide geographic territory
- Oversee staffing models that account for travel time and rural logistics
- Ensure ongoing survey readiness and compliance with CMS and Wyoming state regulations
- Optimize workflows to support both patient care and staff efficiency
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure high-quality outcomes, including:
- Patient satisfaction
- Reduced hospitalizations
- Accurate and compliant OASIS documentation
- Support clinical decision-making and case conferences
- Own branch P&L performance, including:
- Revenue growth
- Expense management
- Productivity targets
- Monitor key performance indicators such as:
- Census
- Admissions and recertifications
- Visits per episode
- Identify opportunities to improve margin in a cost-sensitive rural market
- Partner with Business Development to grow referral sources, including:
- Local hospitals
- Rural clinics
- Skilled nursing and assisted living facilities
- Build strong relationships within the Gillette healthcare community
- Support outreach in surrounding rural areas to expand access and awareness
- Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality clinicians in a competitive rural labor market
- Develop and mentor staff, with a focus on internal leadership growth

- Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local home health regulations
- Maintain accurate clinical and operational documentation
- Lead survey preparation and response efforts
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Wyoming or compact state)
- Minimum 2-3 years of home health experience
- Minimum 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- Medicare home health guidelines
- OASIS documentation
- Clinical regulatory standards
- Prior experience as:
- Branch Manager / Director
- Clinical Manager (Home Health)
- BSN preferred
- Experience working in rural or multi-county service areas
- Strong clinical and operational leadership ability
- Proven ability to manage in resource-constrained or rural environments
