Healing Hearts Home Care is seeking a reliable and organized NEMT Dispatcher to assist with the daily coordination of our Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) operations.
Responsibilities:
- Dispatch and coordinate daily NEMT trips
- Communicate with drivers regarding pickups, drop-offs, cancellations, and schedule changes
- Monitor trips throughout the day to ensure timely service
- Communicate with transportation brokers when necessary
- Assign trips efficiently while minimizing unnecessary mileage and delays
- Update trip information and maintain accurate records
- Assist with resolving scheduling and transportation issues
- Communicate professionally with clients, drivers, facilities, and brokers
Qualifications:
- Previous dispatching experience preferred
- NEMT dispatching experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with transportation brokers such as Modivcare and MTM is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and multiple platforms
- Ability to multitask and make quick decisions
- Dependable and detail-oriented
- Must be able to work independently
Schedule: Monday–Friday
