Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate nursing care within our home care agency. This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical operations, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining high standards of patient care. The ideal candidate will be self motivated,possess strong leadership skills, extensive home health expertise, the ability to travel to mulitple locations within Crawford,Cherokee,Labette and Montogomery Counties in Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage nurse aide and caregiving staff, performance evaluations, and professional development to ensure optimal team functioning.
- Ensure all practices comply with HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and state and federal healthcare standards.
- Complete patient intake and on going assessments,in home care planning vital signs monitoring, medication management, catheter care, and other clinical procedures using EMR/EVV systems like Wellsky.
- lead care planning efforts, case management activities, utilization review, and documentation to support quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate communication between multidisciplinary teams to promote seamless patient care transitions and optimize treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications
- Valid RN license with current state registration; supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Proficiency with EMR/EVVsystems including Wellsky
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead caregiving teams effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
