You’ll play a key role in sustaining the product pipeline and supporting growth through technologies such as fluorescent immunoassay and biochemistry.

Purpose

Product Specialist – Immunoassays will be supporting the Product Manager by driving marketing initiatives, conducting market research, engaging in downstream product life cycle management, and leading voice of customer activities. The Immunoassay portfolio includes Infectious Disease, Toxicology, Women’s Health and Veterinary products. Additional technologies such as fluorescent immunoassay instrumentation and expanded product lines are also being implemented. This person will work closely with colleagues worldwide in Sales, Marketing Communications, Regulatory & Quality, Finance, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, to deliver on yearly goals as well as mid-to-long-term Go-to-Market strategy. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve or add to Healgen Scientific’s products.
• Conduct Market Analysis to illustrate product market potential.
• Provide data-driven design inputs throughout the product’s life cycle.
• Contribute to the success of customer retention and new sales efforts.
• Maintain complete documentation of products and their specifications.
• Create and review marketing materials to support sales opportunities as a subject matter expert.
• Contribute to product development, launch, and release activities.
• Provide technical support as needed.
• May perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Travel is limited to marketing events and conferences.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, biology preferred. A postgraduate degree is also acceptable. 
• >1 year experience in relevant IVD industry such as medical device or pharma
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to navigate, interpret, and analyze scientific literature.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to convey thoughts and ideas verbally and in written communication. Strong technical writing skills.
