Lead a growing, independently owned veterinary hospital in DUMBO—without weekend shifts. H.E.A.L. Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to work directly with our owner and COO, lead our team, and improve the systems that support excellent medicine and client care. This is a hands-on leadership role with meaningful input into how the hospital grows, from team development and daily operations to the client experience.
Salary: $65,000–$75,000, based on experience. Monday–Friday schedule; no weekends. A sign-on bonus may be available for a qualified candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the day-to-day operations of the hospital.
- Partner with the practice owner and COO to establish priorities, drive growth, and achieve operational excellence.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, mentor, and retain an exceptional veterinary team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop efficient systems to enhance patient care, client service, and team productivity.
- Lead performance management, employee development, and ongoing training initiatives.
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify opportunities to improve hospital performance.
- Ensure an outstanding client experience while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Compensation & Benefits
- $65,000–$75,000, based on experience
- 401(k) retirement plan with a 100% employer match on employee contributions up to 4% of compensation, subject to plan eligibility requirements
- Eligibility for discretionary employer profit-sharing contributions, subject to plan terms

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of veterinary practice management experience required.
- Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing veterinary teams.
- Strong business acumen with experience improving operational efficiency and team performance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience with Vetspire practice management software preferred.
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM) credential preferred.
