Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and swiftly
- Deliver outstanding customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food safety regulations are followed
- Assist in food handling, sanitation, and proper storage to uphold health standards in a fast-paced environment
- Support team members with food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred; experience in retail or grocery stores is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude during high-volume periods
