TITLE: RECRUITER (TEMPORARY)

REPORTS TO: MANAGER, STAFFING AND COMPENSATION
Summary
Under the direction of the Manager of Staffing and Compensation, the Recruiter is responsible for supporting all staffing and recruitment initiatives with the HR department, including sourcing, tracking, and establishing a ready pipeline of candidates for both exempt and non-exempt positions using available resources such as LinkedIn, Career Builder, Indeed, job fairs, employee referral programs, etc.; scheduling interviews, collecting candidate documents, and submitting candidates for background screening. In addition, the Recruiting Coordinator will also provide backup support for new hire orientation and assist with maintaining new hire and termination files, preparing documentation for exiting employees, administrating the post onboarding survey and analyzing data, and maintaining and updating various reports. This position is located in Milpitas, California.

Working Conditions
The Recruiter works primarily in an office environment from Monday thru Friday. The schedule may be altered from time-to-time to meet business or operational needs; may travel from building-to-building as needed. Stands, sits, and walks; performs various fine grasping movements, bends, and twists; operates a computer and enters information using a keyboard, operates a telephone, and other office equipment. May occasionally be required to push, pull, or lift up to 10 or more pounds.

Essential Functions
- Sources, tracks, and establishes a ready pipeline of candidates for both exempt and non-exempt positions
- Schedules a high volume of interviews for both exempt and non-exempt positions; collects candidate documents such as employment applications and consent forms
- Submits and tracks candidate pre-employment post interview documentation; submits background screens and tracks drug testing results
- Tracks, updates, and submits new hire and exit surveys to employees; prepares quarterly reports and updates questionnaires
- Updates and maintains various tracking databases or spreadsheets
- Responds to requests for information or reports from departments or employees
- Overtime may be required contingent on business needs
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures as required
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level*
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree and/or equivalent relevant experience
- Two years of experience working in recruitment in a manufacturing or production environment; experience with external sourcing platforms such as Career Building, LinkedIn, etc.
- Strong customer services skills, sense of urgency, and ability handle large volume of openings across various departments
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications
- Knowledge of the recruitment principles, practices, and techniques
- Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations
- Knowledge and ability to use various types of office equipment, including fax machines, copiers, printers, and calculators
- Able to communicate effectively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management both verbally and in writing
- Able to use discretion and judgement in all employee matters
- Able to exhibit professionalism and confidentiality
- Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
