Hot/Power Vinyasa Yoga Instructor -Independent Contractor

We’re hiring a certified and inspired yoga instructor to teach at Headwaters Hot Yoga. Hiring a Hot/Power Vinyasa teacher to teach 2 classes a week. Monday and Wednesday 4-5pm. Client check in and light cleaning before and after class. Approx 2 hours of work per class.

Hot/Power Vinyasa class is up-beat with music and held at 95-100°F

Responsibilities

• Conduct Hot Vinyasa classes, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various skill levels.
• Provide personalized guidance and adjustments to enhance students' practice.
• Maintain CPR and teaching certifications while promoting customer service excellence.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging feedback and building community among attendees.
• Stay informed about anatomy and body mechanics to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Job Type: Contract Labor

Pay: Starting at $40 per class taught. Pay increase depending on experience and reliability.

All teachers must have a 200 level yoga teaching certificate. Personal insurance and current CPR Certificate.

Hired as Independent Contractors. Teachers must obtain an Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate with the State of Montana within the first month of employment.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Missoula, MT 59802: Reliably commute. Relocation expenses are not provided.

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Yoga instruction: 1 year (Preferred)
