Job Summary
As a Back of House Team Member, you are the engine of our establishment, preparing high-quality American-style pub food (burgers, pizzas, sandwiches) in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in the guest experience by ensuring food is prepared accurately, safely, and efficiently. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive under pressure and have a passion for food quality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, and appetizers according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Ticket Management: Read and execute food orders quickly and in proper sequence from the Shift4 ticketing system.
• Cost Control: Follow strict portion control guidelines to minimize food waste while maximizing the guest experience.
• Sanitation & Safety: Adhere to all company and local food safety and sanitation procedures, keeping a clean station throughout the shift.
• Side Work: Complete designated kitchen side work, station setup, and breakdown duties at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain a cooperative, high-morale working relationship with both kitchen staff and Front of House (FOH) servers.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels at your station and communicate inventory needs to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous kitchen, line cook, or quick-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English to process system kitchen tickets.
• Pace & Pressure: Proven ability to work efficiently and stay organized under pressure during peak rush hours.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to handle special dietary requests and order modifications exactly as requested.
• Team Spirit: A positive attitude and willingness to jump in and support other team members as business dictates.
