Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush and healthy grass growth.
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to optimize water efficiency across various landscapes.
- Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, and applying mulch or soil amendments.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for landscape construction projects like hardscape installations or garden bed creation.
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators when needed for site preparation or drainage work
- Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, or removal to promote safety and aesthetic appeal.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment including excavators is a plus.
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance or construction work demonstrates your ability to handle diverse outdoor tasks.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care techniques, gardening practices, and hardscape installation is beneficial.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols while operating machinery or performing physical tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the willingness to learn new skills related to landscape maintenance and irrigation technology.
- Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions is essential.
