A Part Time Para-Professional is needed for the 2026-2027 school year for the Red Cloud Early Learning Center. This position will be 28 hours per week. $15.13 per hour with a $1.00 pay differential for those with an A.A. in ECE. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
Training opportunities are available. Bilingual applicants are highly encouraged to apply. An Associate degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.

The Para-Professional is responsible for working in a team environment to assist the Teacher and classroom employees in providing support for educational activities, meals, classroom management, and other classroom activities in accordance with the Head Start Performance Standards.
· Utilize developmentally appropriate classroom activities for children.
· Encourage parents to participate in the program in a variety of ways that fit their skills and time. Collect in-kind related to this participation.
· Enter GOLD observations resulting in a minimum of one anecdote per child per item each period.
· Assist families in a variety of ways including but not limited to; connecting with resources, making referrals, sharing information about their child’s day, translating documents and interpreting.
